- ground turkey meet
- feta cheese
- pepperFirst chop the basil, I used a pizza cutter… it worked really well 🙂Put turkey meat in mixing bowl and add basil…
Add feta 🙂 This picture was taken at Marcus’s house the first time he made the burgers for us. He always uses a tube of basil stuff. It’s so gross looking, I had to include it.Marcus’s tube of basil and his giant beard… (he’s single ladies and he has since shaved the beard!) and he cooks 🙂 You can opt to replace the tube of basil for fresh basil…
Your patties need to be pretty thin, they will shrink a lot on the skillet. Marcus takes great pride in shaping the perfect patty 🙂
You don’t need to add anything to the pan, the burgers have enough juice (or fat!) to cook.Andy attempted to use this little gadget. I didn’t work. But, the burger is done when it looks like this on both sides. About 6 minutes on each side.We didn’t have any buns or bread for that matter. Andy ate his on a flat bagel and I ate my patty bare… They taste good, promise. This picture does not help my case! (HERE is the kale salad recipe)
Attempting to show you the hunks of feta…How do you feel about the turkey v. beef burger? Are you into veggie burgs?
