As some of you have noticed, I have added a thrifty house tour page to C.R.A.F.T. The page is still under construction because I have a dilemma… I need some opinions/ thoughts on what is the best way to lay out this page.
Here is my dilemma: Which way do you prefer the pictures?
#1: Pictures with labels about where I found certain items
#2: Picture with numbers and corresponding projects below,
don’t care about where the stuff comes from…
#3: Just simple pictures
I want to know what way is the most user friendly and/ or helpful. Is there anything other informaton I am missing? Thank you in advance for your time and energy 🙂
I prefer the first option, though the second works as well.
Haha, I am the odd one out! I like the third pic. But, then again, I am a thrift store shopper. I never go to the source, I just try to find similiar things when thrifting.
Option 2. I like the links at the bottom of the pic.
I love the labels of where you found your items… very helpful in my opinion!
Option 2. I'm all about the DIY!
I like option #2. It keeps the picture clean and easy to see all the details, but the reader can still get all the information about where things came from.
I like the first one too. It will save time if someone asks where you got something.
I personally like the first option…it's fun for me to see where everything came from…and it gives me more ideas about looking for certain things I wouldn't normally look for in my favorite stores!
I like option 2. I like how clean and simple it looks, and the fact that I can click the link to go to the project to find out more about it.
I agree, I like the first option. I frequently run into pictures of things I like and have no idea where to get it! The second option would work….but some people (ok, me really) get too lazy to go clicking around to see where stuff came from. Hope that helps! 🙂
I like the first option … that way if I see something I want I know where to go to get it !
Hi there, I personally like knowing where people have gotten their stuff from, in case I want to borrow (steal) their ideas. 😉
My two cents!
