How to make crazy crayon circles
Crazy crayon circles (or fireworks) are a simple, fun art project for kids of all ages. Consider using black paper and metallic markers or chalk to make fireworks in a night sky!
Step 1- Five dots
Use a crayon and make 5 random dots on a white peice of paper. Spread the dots out. These will be the center of the fireworks. Also fair to note that five dots is simple suggestion, use as many or as few dots as you’d like!
Step 2- Zig zag with crayons
Begin zig zagging around each dot with a crayon. This technique works with any coloring tool, but crayons are so readily available. Use patterns or draw crazy rainbow fireworks. Consider doing one circle in warm colors and one in cool colors. Or use red and white and blue for patriotic fireworks!
Step 3- Fill the paper with fireworks
Continue zig zaging around each circle until the paper is covered. When the circles start colliding, decide which circles (or fireworks) will go in front and which ones will go behind. The picture below is a crazy circle firework I made when I was a kid and my mom framed!
