Who knew pizza boxes could be used to make art easels, solar ovens, or a self storing tic tac toe set! Consider making one of these pizza box crafts before you toss your next pizza box.
Before we get crafty, let’s cover a question I often get asked about pizza boxes–
Are pizza boxes recyclable?
In most cities, pizza poxes are not recyclable. Pizza boxes cannot be recycled because of the grease from the cheese. In fact, any paper product that is stained with grease or food is not recyclable unless you remove the tainted portions. Pizza boxes can be composted!
