Health benefits of mint: According to this website, mint is well known for its ability to sooth the digestive tract and reduce the severity and length of stomach aches. This is such a simple, refreshing, healthy, recipe for summer.
All you need to make banana mint ice cream
- food processor
- bananas
- mint
- honey
My mom gave me this mint plant…

Step 1 – Slice Bananas
Cut 1 banana into small pieces and freeze for at least one hour.
Step 2 – Blend
Use a food processor to blend the frozen banana slices and the mint.
Step 3 – Continue Mixing
This step takes longer than you think depending on your food processor.
Step 4 – Creamy Perfection
The banana mint ice cream should look like this!
Step 5 – Add honey
This step is optional, and I think it totally depends on the banana. Some bananas are sweeter than others. Pretty yummy. And healthy. The creaminess amazes me every time I do it!
and there you have it…

Oh yea, and the difference between herbs and spices is… (drum roll please) According to Wikipedia, Herbs are typically from the leafy part of the plant and spices are from seeds, berries, fruits, bark, or roots. Mint is officially an herb. Who knew?!
