8Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 9th! All mom’s love handmade gifts from their kiddos, but we also love sleep and spas. Here are 12 DIY Mothers Day gifts that could be paired with a 1 hour massage or breakfast in bed. I’ve also shared 2 free printable Mother’s Day cards because at the very least, mail your wonderful Mama a card!

Mom’s make the world go round! Show the Mama in your life how much she means to you with a DIY gift she can actually use. This list includes everything from an etched flower vase to marbled mugs for her favorite hot beverage.

1. Flowers and DIY etched vase

For the flower lovin’ mama, make her a a handmade etched glass vase filled with flowers and complete with instructions to “grow”!

My kids made me these DIY flower pots for Mother’s day a few years ago. The smaller one is finger painted on a terracotta clay pot. My daughter made the other one with polymer clay that gets baked in the oven and then hot glued to a pot!

5. Puzzle Cube

If your mama loves puzzles, this DIY Mothers Day gift idea is sure to be ah it! Make mom a 3D puzzle cube with wooden blocks and paint. Kids will love to help paint and glue this puzzle together.
