Looking for a cute, easy, last minute costume to make for Halloween? This Tic Tac costume can be made with in less than 30 minutes and is light and comfortable to wear all night. A big win for my kiddo!

What you need to make a Tic Tac costume
- Cardboard
- White spray paint
- Clear plastic bags (These 24 x 30 are great!)
- Long balloons or Easter eggs
- Printer
- Clear packing tape (to make the straps)
How to make a Tic Tac Costume
1. Create the top of the Tic Tac box
Cut 2 large 9 x 18 inch cardboard rectangles and spray paint them white. After they are dry, print out a large Tic Tac logo and glue it to the center of each rectangle.

2. Create the costume straps
We stuck 2 pieces of clear packing tape to each other to create 1 strap. Each Tic Tac costume needs 2 straps. Once the straps were made, tape the straps to the cardboard tops. This might take some adjusting. Try the costume on to see how the top fits best.
3. Make the Tic Tacs
There are multiple ways to make the Tic Tacs. I think the cuter way is to use long balloons, but beware the balloons will pop! Last minute, we decided to switch out the balloons for plastic Easter eggs to avoid popping. Either option works! The color combo is up to you- we opted for the “Berry Bliss” combo since it is pink and purple.

4. Assemble the Tic Tac costume
Finally, attach the clear bag filled with “Tic Tac’s” to the cardboard top with tape. The straps can easily be adjusted to make the costume fit any sized body.
