Mouse: Toilet paper roll crafts

September 18, 2015 By Jamie Dorobek Leave a Comment

M is for mouse! And just for fun, you should read, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie and then make a little mouse toilet paper roll craft! (Psst… that’s an Amazon affiliate link.)
Tons of crafts with toilet paper rolls

The toilet paper roll mouse is very easy to make. Here’s what you will need:

  • 1 toilet paper roll
  • Scissors
  • Single hole punch
  • Pencil
  • Sharpie marker
  • Glue
  • White scrap paper
  • Cereal box

First cut a toilet paper roll in half. Then, use a sharpie marker to draw a mouse head onto the back of a cereal box. It might be easier for kids to start with a pencil. For the head, draw a triangle with one of the points facing down, then add two circles to each of the other 2 points. Outline this shape with a black marker and cut out!

Here are the other toilet paper roll crafts in the series:

  • A is for anteater
  • B is for beaver
  • C is for cat
  • D is for dog
  • E is for elephant
  • F is for fish
  • G is for giraffe
  • H is for horse
  • I is for iguana
  • J is for jellyfish
  • K is for kangaroo
  • L is for llama

And now for a few fun facts about mice:

  • There are more than 30 known species of mice.
  • In the wild, mice are herbivores that eat all kinds of fruit and grains from plants.
  • Mice tails can grow as long as their bodies!

N is up next! try to think of some animals that start with N, it’s tricky!
