T is for turkey!
The toilet paper roll turkey is pretty simple:
- 1 toilet paper roll
- Scissors
- Single hole punch
- Pencil
- Sharpie marker
- Glue
- White scrap paper
- Cereal box
First, cut your toilet paper tube in half with a pair of scissors. Then grab the empty cereal box and it’s time to make the turkey’s head, gobble, and feathers! The turkey head is really easy, doodle on an oval with a squiggle line gobble and a giant black beak. Cut it out and Bam! Done. Use the hole punch to make 2 white eyes with black pupils and glue them to the head. Now, for the feathers. Use your pencil to draw a 4in diameter circle. Then draw a line through the center of it, you only need a semi circle! Now, zig zag the top part of your circle and add black lines to represent feathers. To attach the feathers to the body, set the feathers on the turkey body and use a pencil to mark where the slits will be cut so that the feathers can fit onto the tube.
Attach the feathers to the turkey body and give your little turkey some webbed feet! Obviously, this would be a fun craft for Thanksgiving too! Don’t mind that I’m posting about it at the end of March 🙂

Very cute. I will have to try this with my 3 yr old. Thanks for sharing at Family Joy Blog Link Up Party this week.
Cute! I think I will try this with my preschoolers, but let them use pretty colored feathers. The brighter, the better for them!
What a cute and easy Thanksgiving craft! Thanks for joining the Family Joy Link Party!
