The BF invented this carrot trick. I was trying to cut each individual carrot slice when the BF swooped in and discovered that by shaping the whole carrot first… you can cut pretty little slices, like this…
Use a knife to cut a “V” out of the top of the carrot…
The carrot should look like this:
Then use a peeler to peel around the entire carrot…
and look how fun it makes a boring ol’ salad look:
Andy tries to get in ALL of my pictures…
If you think the carrots are cute, how about hearts shaping pizza, waffles, and a cake (+ 15 more heart shaped food ideas). Don’t you think the carrots would be oh so cute for a Valentine’s Day dinner! Are you thinking about heart shaping any food for Valentine’s day?

Really cute idea that I’m gonna use just to make my kids smile on an ordinary night. Might be cute on a plaste with some radish roses, okay, gotta try that I even have some little radishes in the fridge! Thanks for sharing on craft schooling sunday!

Would it be ok for me to add this to the list?
Definitely not for me…maybe if I cook it first? One way of getting kids to eat carrots though…Nice job….actually chocolate hearts are more my style!
