How to make crepe paper flowers
Materials:
- crepe paper (Hobby Lobby has it for $1 a roll)
- scissors
- pen
- brad
Step 1 – Fold crepe paper
Step 2 – Cut the crepe paper
Use the outlines you created as a guide and trim the crepe paper to make multiple flower petals.
Step 3 – Brad
This is before maneuvering the petals, fluffing, and bending.
I also discovered the flowers look cuter if you cut out a few smaller ones for the top of the flower… check out the dark blue flower. Experiment with petal shape! It’s fun and easy. I used Elmer’s glue dots to stick the flowers on the tin buckets…I’m sure tape would work too!
more shapes and colors…
behind the scenes in my “studio”… ha!

It's nice to see an alternative to those pom pom style flowers. Your cut ones are very cute with the brads. Have a great weekend!
