What do tin cans, ping pong balls, and paint stir sticks have in common? They can all be light fixtures, duh! With a little DIY love you can turn everyday objects into lovely lights. See for yourself…

    I LOVE THESE. Especially the letter A and the stir stick light. I think I’ve seen the stir stick one done with the exterior in a uniform stain but the inside of each stick painted in bright colors, and that was neat, too.

    I don’t know how I found you (I left this tab open over the weekend and I think I was googling to make sure I hadn’t unknowingly duplicated anyone else’s work when I made this chandelier shade: http://knucklesalad.com/illumination-challenge/) but now that I have found you I am going to keep you because your blog is amaaaazing.

    Hey Jamie, all of the lights are awesome, but I LOVE the one from brass sheets! It reminds me of one by Murray Feiss that I just love – but I know the price on this one is way better! The bowls are pretty fabulous too! Thanks for sharing these and have a great week!

    I turned an old light fixture and toilet paper rolls into a cute light before. I know it sounds weird, but it ended up being pretty cool! I love all of these ideas– thanks for sharing them! 🙂
