Social media event planning {+ more free printables}

June 12, 2013 By Jamie Dorobek 13 Comments

Remember these free printables I made for social media event planning? Well, we’ve got some more cute, free printables today from Jenni! She liked mine, but wanted tags instead of the fold over labels I made. Now, everyone has both!

Social Media event treats
Hi! My name is Jenni Bost and I blog over at A Well Crafted Party. I blog about all of the things that makes life a party and the many ways we can celebrate it. Check out my blog if you like crafts, parties, food, drinks, toddler fashion, mommy fashion, free printables, and much more. I also help coordinate Portland Blogger meet-ups and run the Portland Bloggers’ website. Speaking of Portland, OR, did you check out the really awesome list of 10 fun, (mostly) free things to do in Portland yesterday on C.R.A.F.T.? Connect with me via my social media outlets: Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, & Facebook.

How to plan a social media event

This past month the Portland Bloggers got together for a meet-up about Social Media. I had seen the amazing social media printables on C.R.A.F.T. and couldn’t wait to use them for the event. In my search for Sweet Tarts and Teddy Grahams I couldn’t really find the best kinds to go with Jamie’s adorable fold over printables. I found individual bags of the grahams and mini candies. I really needed tags instead!

How to plan a social media event

Inspired by Jamie’s work, I created a couple of sets of tags that can be used as a label (print out on sticker paper) or as a favor tag (use a hole punch). I really loved how they turned out! I was thrilled when Jamie said she also liked them and that I could share them with you. I think these would make super cute favors for social media events. But, I also think they could be great for use at ANY party. Write down your party hashtag on the back of the tag and hand them out at the event to encourage guests to share images or tweets about all the fun they are having.

Hurtienne Photography, Salem and Portland Oregon Wedding andEngagement Photographers, captured the beautiful images of the printables in action at the Portland Bloggers’ social media workshop.
