Gummi Worm Valentine

February 5, 2013 By Jamie Dorobek 23 Comments

Today is the second to last day of the Share the Love series. Are you sad? Don’t worry. The cheese will live on! I’m going to do a fun round up post of all 8 valentines on Friday! Valentine sayings are so fun to think up.  I’m convinced you can turn any thing/food item/tool (you get the point) into a clever little Valentine saying!  We let off on Thursday with a non candy crayon treat, that all the kids will love titled, “Happy valentine’s day for CRAYON out loud!”

Do you have a worm heart? Hardy har har. I’m getting cheesier and cheesier, and I like it! I love gummy worms, and decided to create a classroom friendly  valentine: “You wormed your way into my heart!” Perfect for the kiddos.

What you need to make gummi worm valentines:

  • gummy worms
  • free printable
  • tiny plastic envelopes
  • stapler
  • black pen
  • scissors

How to download the free Gummi Work Valentine printable

To download the “You wormed your way to my heart”” free printable Valentine, just enter your name and email address below and the free file will be delivered to your inbox! The Gummi Worm Valentines come 6 to a page.

Print out the free printable found and use a thin black sharpie to doodle on some worms. I think it would be fun to let the kiddos to it too. If you want to get extra fancy, you could even  color in your worms!

Jamie CRAFT Valentines Day

I filled each little bag with 2 gummi worms. My bags were little. In retrospect, I think I would have spent the extra 50 cents and got the bigger bag size! Oh well. Next, cut out each tag and staple the tag to the plastic bag full or worms. Voila. Easy peasy.

CRAFT Valentine Day Sayings

Super easy, cheesy, yummy, and perfectly portioned for classroom Valentines! Happy (almost) heart Day!
CRAFT Valentine Day Sayings

Just in case you need more cheese, here are 100 + clever valentine day sayings. And why should kids have all the fun… how about some adult valentines (with wine) “you’re like a fine wine, Valentine!“. And while we are talking about drinking let’s throw in a gambling valentine too. “I like/love you a whole lotto“! What’s your favorite cheesy valentine?

Oh I do LOVE some valentine’s cheese! The cheesier the better. I actually giggled at “for CRAYON out loud” – right here alone with my laptop. The worm idea is so sweet!
