Today, I’m sharing 5 ways to use what you’ve got to make super cute centerpieces and spruce up your food table!
- Blankets as table cloths: Both the black and white one and the orange on are blankets!
- Plants: The lilly was my Mother’s Day present that I’ve kept alive!
- Re-use picture frames from around your house and add decorative paper.
- Candle sticks, cake stands, and books: Collect them from around your house and use them to give height to your party decor and food table
- Banners: I made that black and white banner 5 years ago and use it for almost every gathering in my home! Buy or make one generic banner and use it again and again!
Now that you’ve got the decorations gathered from around the house, how the heck do you hang ’em up? Command Party products get the party started, y’all! Here are the banner anchors in action. I love that they are clear and you can easily wrap the banner around the hook a few times! Did I mention that after the party is over the hooks don’t damage your wall and you can re-use them for your next party? Yea, I like that part, a lot!
The bats are hanging from the ceiling with celling hooks. They hold very well on smooth or lightly textured ceilings. Each hook can hold up to 1/2 a pound!
To give my paper bats dimension, I hung 5 from the ceiling and 3 from the wall. The 3 on the wall are hung with the mini spring clips.
