Looking for an easy costume to whip up for the party tonight? You’ve found the right list! These 12 quick Halloween costume ideas can be made with things from the closet or supplies from the grocery store!

1. Tourist costume

You’ll need a few of the following items to make a this tourist costume come to life.

fanny pack
Hawaiian shirt
“I love NYC” t-shirt
cargo shorts
camera
passport holder around the neck
white sneakers
tall socks
straw hat
sunglasses

2. Old man costume

We happen to have everything on hand for the grandpa costume, but you might need to make a quick run to a thrift store for some fancy grandpa plaid pants, ha! Don’t forget to add a pillow to the pants for a Grandpa belly and these glasses would be a cute addition too.

3. American Idol contestant costume

American Idol aired from 2002- 2016, but the best part is you can utilize your work outfit and simply print out the Golden Ticket and your American Idol contestant number. It doesn’t get easier or more nostalgic than this!

4. Cassette Tape

You can whip up a DIY cassette tape costume from a cardboard box in 30 minutes or less. All you need is paint, patience, and cardboard! (This box cutter tool really helps too.)

5. Filter/ No filter costume

You’ll need a friend for this easy DIY costume, but after that you just need matching outfits! We used:

Jeans
Converse
Long brown wig
Poster board signs with “#NoFilter” and “#Filter”

6. Chocolate chip cookie

This easy DIY chocolate chip cookie costume can be made in less than an hour and all you need is a cardboard box, ribbon and black paper or paint.

7. Flo the Progressive Girl

All you need for Flo the Progressive girl costume is a white apron, I love insurance button and a “Flo” name tag!

8. Crazy cat lady costume

9. Waldo Costumes
