My oldest is almost 7, and he asked for Valentines that aren’t so mushy. He likes the idea of Valentines with sayings like “I like the way you roll” and “You’re as Neat-o as a Cheeto”. This list of Valentines Day cards for kids is for the 6 and up crowd. Younger kiddos can absolutely use these too, but these are no mush and big kid approved! In case you still have younger kids, here is an awesome list of 10 toddler Valentines and 150 more Valentines Day sayings.
Valentines Day Cards for Kids
The following Valentines Day cards are perfect for school age kids. The first part of the list is the non candy section, and includes treats like Teddy Grahams, Goldfish, and pretzels. Oh and most of these are free printables, but there are a couple that cost $2. Thank you for supporting my small business!
Who doesn’t love Cheetos? This Cheeto bag topper is sure to be hit with all the kids.
Teddy Grahams are a great snack and “I’m so beary happy you’re in my class” is cute without being too mushy.
“I’m so glad we are in the same school” is a sweet sentiment for any age kiddo!
Stick pretzels are a big hit in our house likely because you can use them as tiny swords and my kids love pretzels and cranberries.
Doritos or Cheetos? It’s a tough choice! Good thing you can hand out both chip Valentines this year! (See #1 on the list.)
All kids love Pirate’s Booty! This free printable appeals to kids of all ages, comes in 2 color combinations, and reads, “Ahoy Valentine, You’re a real treasure!”
Chocolate chip cookies are always a winner, and this “Ahoy Matey, Be My Valentine” free printable pairs perfectly with Chips Ahoy. It’s also fun to note, you could consider using this printable on a bag of Pirates Booty too.

This might be my favorite Valentines saying to date, “Don’t ever change, Valentine!” paired with chocolate coins.

These Star Wars Valentines are crafty and delicious! Fold brown kraft paper into Jedi robes and attach a Pixie Stick light sabers.
What Valentine do like best? The cheesier the better for me, so “You’re as Neat-o as a Cheeto” wins in my book, ha!
